Inviting users to the Pulsawork platform is a straightforward process. Whether you're onboarding employees, external collaborators, or new admins, follow this guide to ensure a smooth experience.
π Overview
As a platform administrator, you can invite users by creating an employee profile and sending them access credentials via the User Management interface in the Operations section.
Invited users will receive an email with login instructions, enabling them to set a password and access their dashboard based on assigned roles and permissions.
π οΈ How to Invite a New User
Inviting a new user to Pulsawork involves assigning a role, selecting a profile, and defining what the user can access through permission groups.
1. Access the User Management Section

Click the β Create User button located at the top right corner.
2. Initiate the User Creation Process
- Click the β icon to open the user creation form.
3. Fill In User Details
In the form, provide the following required and optional information:

A valid, unique email address that will be used for login and communication. -
Username (optional)
Can be auto-generated based on the email or manually entered later after invitation. -
Role
Choose a descriptive role label for the user. Examples include: Root

Permission Group
Select a permission group that defines what this user is allowed to access and manage.
What are Permission Groups?
Permission groups are predefined or custom access templates that bundle multiple permissions.
You can manage these under Settings β Permissions.

- Profile Assignment
Choose a profile that links the user to an internal record (e.g., employee or candidate profile).
4. Assign to an Organizational Unit
- Choose which organizational company or department the user belongs to.
- You may need to create an employee profile first if inviting them in Employee Mode.
5. Set Role and Permissions
- Select a predefined permission group (see Permissions Guide).
- You can modify or create custom permission groups under Settings β Permissions.
6. Review and Send Invitation
- Confirm the entered details.
- Click Send Invitation.
- The user will receive an email with a link to set up their password and complete registration.
7. Track Invitation Status
- After sending, view the user in the Pending Users or All Users list.
- If needed, resend the invitation or edit their details.
