The Terminations App is designed to help you manage contract terminations. Within this application, you can view a detailed list of terminations, search and filter records, add or remove supporting documents, edit termination details, and export termination data.


1. Navigation and Layout

Location Indicator:
At the top of the page, a breadcrumb navigation bar shows your current location (e.g., “Contracts > Terminations”), helping you understand where you are in the Contracts App.

Module Buttons

Module Switching:
Button group includes: - Contracts: View all contracts - Additions: View contract additions - Terminations: View all terminations.

Visual Cues:
The active module (Terminations) is highlighted.

Overall Layout

Main Content Area:
Displays the termination records table.

Search and Filters:
Use the search bar or filter form to narrow down records.


2. The Terminations Table

Table Headers and Their Meanings

  • Contract Number: Unique ID of the original contract
  • Employee: Full name and position (clickable to profile)
  • Employer: Name and ID of employer/department (clickable)
  • Notice Period: Date the notice period starts
  • Termination Type: Category of termination (voluntary, involuntary)
  • Terminated By: Person or authority executing the termination
  • Reason: Short description of termination reason
  • Document: Manage attached documents (view, upload, remove)
  • Created: Date, time, and user who created the record

3. Searching and Filtering

  • Search Field: Type keywords (contract, employee, employer)

Filter Form

Filter by: - Type - Reason - Employee - Terminated By - Notice Period Dates

Table updates instantly based on filters. Reset to view all.


4. Performing Actions on Termination Records

Bulk Actions

  • Generate Documents: Select records → Bulk Action → Generate Documents (modal guided)

Row-Level / Individual Actions

  • Notes: View notes in a modal
  • Edit Termination: Pencil icon opens editable modal
  • Document Actions:
  • View Document: Opens attached file
  • Remove Document: Delete with confirmation
  • Upload Document: Add new document using a modal

5. Exporting Data

  • Export Option: Download filtered termination records as XLSX
  • File auto-named (e.g., “terminations”)
